Welcome All! Please join us for our Trans+ Panel on April 8th, from 6:30-8:30pm via Zoom. We will be hosting a Trans+ Panel in order to give some general information about Trans+ care and how to represent the Trans+ community in a respectful way. Dr. Donna Price will be our presenter on how to perform Trans+ care. Our panelists, Elizabeth Hobbs, Kai Kline, and Corey Meier will share their transition stories as well as answer questions pertaining to their personal experiences as members of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Program Description
This program will provide an introduction to clinical considerations for transgender, gender non-binary, and gender non-confirming adults. Sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation will be defined along with issues effecting disclosure. Additionally, the program will discuss common experiences and healthcare issues effecting transgender adults. The references provided discuss guidelines for psychological practices with sexual minority persons, supporting transgender persons, and engaging with transgender persons regarding gender dysphoria.

Learning Objectives
1. Define sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
2. Identify 2 issues effecting gender identity disclosure.
3. Describe 3 common healthcare issues experienced by transgender persons.
