The Mission of the Arizona Psychological Association is to support its members, advance the profession, preserve its integrity, promote health, and advocate in the public interest. The Arizona Psychological Association is a nonprofit organization known to the IRS as a 501(c)(6). Contributions to section 501(c)(6) organizations are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return, but are typically taken as business expense deductions if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business. If you are a retired psychologist, we encourage you to make a tax-deducible donation to the Arizona Psychological Foundation since only business-expenses may be tax-deductible to AzPA. The Mission of the Arizona Psychological Foundation is to promote psychological science and practice, which facilitates healing, well-being, and overall mental health literacy for individuals, families, and communities. The Arizona Psychological Foundation is a nonprofit organization known to the IRS as a 501(c)(3). Contributions to section 501(c)(3) organizations are 100% deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return. AZPF can accept 100% tax-deductible contributions from organizations, businesses, community members, and professionals. |
The Arizona Psychology Training Consortium (AZPTC) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit subsidiary corporation of the Arizona Psychological Association (AzPA). The Consortium was created by the Arizona Psychological Association to develop training opportunities in the state. Being a consortium, our faculty is drawn from the psychological community in the state of Arizona. Thus, the Consortium utilizes the resources of academic departments, community agencies, and independent practitioners in providing organized and sequential training for residents. Our training sites reflect the breadth of client populations and intervention modalities available in the state of Arizona.
