Program Description
In this 4-hour presentation, Drs. Akins and Dvoskin will explain the difference between moral, ethical, legal, and contractual duties. Using real-life examples of ethical dilemmas for which psychologists have sought their consultation and dilemmas that will be presented by audience members, they will demonstrate and articulate some simple processes for analyzing each situation to arrive at a solution that allows the psychologist to meet their own legitimate professional needs while remaining true to the principles that guide the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct for Psychologists.
