On July 31st at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Dr. Perle will present the webinar Usage, Ethics, and Legal Considerations of AI in Psychology as part of the National Register’s Clinical Webinar Series. Dr. Perle will provide a 3-hour discussion on AI use, ethics, and legal considerations for clinical psychologists, addressing the variable preparation among practitioners as AI becomes more common in clinical practice. He will outline the uses, benefits, limitations, and competencies associated with AI, along with key ethical and legal logistics such as informed consent. By the end, participants will be able to identify common uses and limitations of AI, recognize components of AI-focused informed consent, and discuss data security considerations.
